Jars

Our amber glass jars are intended to be used to house your favourite tea blends forever. These jars are fully washable (including the labels) in warm, soapy water, and have padded airtight lids to keep your blends as fresh as possible, refill after refill.

If they are no longer required for that, they can be washed out and reused for a huge variety of niche hobbies (supersized spice jars, button storage, as a candle jar, secret coin hoard, etc.). We urge you to reuse rather than dispose of any tea jars, but if you must, all our jars are fully recyclable. The lids are made of a recyclable aluminium, and the labels and internal freshness seals/padding can be recycled separately via your local soft plastics recycling program.

Pouches

Our refill pouches are fully recyclable, including the zipper and label. They were designed to maximise freshness, from blending, to shipping, to your tea cabinet at home. After you have refilled your jars, the pouches can be recycled via your local soft plastics recycling program. Please check your local council website to see what options are near you.

Packaging

All packaging for shipping (including mailing boxes, cards, tissue paper, tape, and shipping labels) are compostable and plant-based. Our boxes are printed with compost-friendly inks and all protective padding inside our boxes can be fed to your (very lucky) worms, or popped in your compost or recycling bin.

We welcome you to spill the tea with us about any of our products, your favourite books, market events, and author collaborations.
