  • Black Tea is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world. It is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, and contains a moderate amount of caffeine. All tea varieties from the Camellia sinensis plant have been shown to boost heart health, improve brain function, help lower cholesterol, reduce blood pressure, improve gut health, regulate sugar levels, and help improve focus.


    Lavender     has long been used in traditional herbal medicine for its relaxing and anti-anxiety effects. It may also help soothe headaches, and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.


    Cornflower     is high in antioxidants and has traditionally been used to reduce inflammation. It may aid in collagen regeneration for healthier skin and hair, and boost digestive and immune function.


    Bergamot Oil     is high in anti-inflammatory compounds, and has traditionally been used to help lower cholesterol and aid in relaxation.

HOW TO BREW

Amount

  • 1 tablespoon per cup/small mug of tea; adjust to taste.

Time and Temperature

  • 3 - 5 minutes at 90ºC depending on preferred strength and taste.

Additions

I love a good Earl Grey and A Grey Fog doesn't disappoint. It has the standard bergamot flavours with a little floral extra that was quite a nice surprise when I first tried it. A beautiful and unique Early Grey. Perfect.

This is currently my go to drink at work (after I've downed my coffee allowance for the day). I just make a big ol teapot of it and sip it throughout the day, and there's no worry about drinking it too late since it's caffeine free!

Lowkey I've been passing out at night since I started drinking this while I read before bed. I can't say if it's the tea itself, but a good book, this tea, and some fantasy piano background music? *chefs kiss*
